Hyderabad: Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy’s driver was allegedly beaten up and injured by film actor Mohan Babu’s security guards in front of the actor’s house in Banjara Hills on Sunday. Local police has taken the attackers into custody. Driver N. Nagaraju told the police that he was standing near Mohan Babu’s house while waiting for his friends. Two men guarding the actor’s house asked him to move away.
Nagaraju refused and an argument ensued following which he was beaten up. “Nagaraju was waiting there since the house is a landmark,” said an official from the Banjara Hills police.
He said two body guards and two drivers of the actor assaulted him. Nagaraju sustained an injury to his hand.
A police team reached the spot following an alert from onlookers, and arrested the four attackers. Police registered a case against the accused for causing injury and criminal intimidation.
