Daruvu Anjanna, and 59 others were arrested on Sunday

Hyderabad: Sangareddy police arrested Osmania University students’ JAC leader and folk singer Daruvu Anjanna, and 59 others on Sunday for organising a protest in Sangareddy town against MLA Rasamai Balakishan. They were later let off by the police after signing personal sureties.
Mr Anjanna, and 59 others had planned a protest against MLA Rasamai Balakishan at the TNGOs Bhavan in Sangareddy. “During vehicle checks, we intercepted the bus in which Mr Anjanna and the others were travelling, at Sangareddy crossroads. Since the protest had no police permission we explained that they cannot hold a protest,” said Sangareddy deputy superintendent of police, Tirupathanna. They were shifted to Indrakaran police station and later let off after signing personal sureties.
