Priyanka Chopra approached to be a part of Salman Khan's 'Sultan'?

It had previously been reported that ‘Sultan’, a Yash Raj production, would see Kangana Ranaut or Deepika Padukone team up for the first time with Salman. Now the name doing the rounds is Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka and Salman have previously worked together in films like 'Salaam-E-Ishq', 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi', 'God Tussi Great Ho'. The actress has been open about her interest to work with the star on several occasions, however fans will have to wait a while longer to see the two pair up on-screen.

This will be the second time within a span of one year that Kangana has opted out of being Salman’s leading lady- the first being ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ that was then given to Kareena Kapoor. While ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ didn’t interest the star, reports state that she turned down ‘Sultan’ as the dates clashed with her next, Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Rangoon’. The film will see the actress star opposite Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.

The studio is yet to make an official announcement regarding the same. Till then, who do you think will fit the part better?
