Alia Bhatt rushed to hospital after facing acute shoulder pain, parents worried back home

Alia Bhatt who is currently shooting for Shakun Batra's 'Kapoor and Sons' in Kunoor was rushed to a hospital in Coimbatore, after experiencing severe shoulder pain.

Apparently, Alia was sitting in a posture which had transferred her body weight on her elbow. Something snapped and she felt an acute pain in her shoulder which did not subside. Alia who posted a picture with a sling, called up her parents before calling for medical aid.

The actress will resume shoot for the next two-three days before she returns home. She will be off gym for at least six-eight weeks and doctors have advised her to slow down on her workouts.

In December last year, Alia got hurt while working in the gym and caused injury on her fingers. Six months prior to that, Alia went down with a torn calf ligament when she injured her leg while rehearsing for a song.
