Hyderabad: The Telangana State government has taken serious note of AP police’s midnight notice to T News Telugu TV channel for broadcasting “defamatory” audiotape of AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s conversation with nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson in the cash-for-vote scam.

The AP police at Vizag served a notice past midnight under Section 19 of the Cable Television Network Regulations Act, 1995.

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao discussed the issue of with his ministerial colleagues, DGP Anurag Sharma, ACB DG A.K. Khan and city police Commissioner M. Mahender Reddy.
