Experts support police’ move
Psychologists say sidelining an ex-criminal will increase his tendency to violate law
Hyderabad: Experts say that most criminals who are released go back to crime due to lack of support from society. Psychologists say sidelining an ex-criminal will increase his tendency to violate law.
“When a prisoner is released he often falls back into old patterns. This makes him a repeat offender,” said crime psychologist P. Sree Ram from Bengaluru. Most criminals do not know how to lead normal life. “They are always anxious how they will be viewed by society. If the police helps them that is the best support they can get,” said the psychologist.
