Officials selected private guesthouses and residences for Naidu’s accommodation

Vijayawada: AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will be staying in a private guesthouse, which is within the Krishna flood bank limits, during his proposed three-day administration from the city. Officials had selected private guesthouses and residences for Mr Naidu’s accommodation. Of this lot, officials selected the private guest house which is in the limits of Krishna flood banks near Prakasam barrage following suggestions of vaastu experts of Mr Naidu. The guest house is on the north face and the Krishna flows from south to east. This makes for good vaastu, but we don’t know the legalities, said vaastu pundit K. Atchi Reddy.

As per the River Conservancy Act, all permanent constructions wit-hin the Krishna flood bank is illegal. Several committees including the Public Accounts Committee of the Assembly and the Lok Ayukta had questioned the irregularities and instructed the government to take action against the illegal structures.
