Mumbai: After sharing space on screen and in the recording studio with Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar will now be seen singing a duet with Shraddha Kapoor in Rock On 2. In fact, the two will lend their voices to at least three songs composed by musical trio Shankar Ehsaan and Loy, who have already conceptualised the tracks.
Despite a few attempts to thwart the project, the sequel to the 2008 trend-setting film is still on, says a source. “Gattu (Abhishek Kapoor, the director of Rock On!!) had raised a few legal issues over the creative rights of the film. However, the team is set to roll in September. Shraddha, who comes from a family of singers, is gearing up to share the stage with Farhan and the film is very much on,” adds the source.
