For the first time in his career, Emraan Hashmi wasn’t seen locking lips with his co-star when he starred opposite Vidya Balan in Hamari Adhuri Kahaani. Reason? Apparently Vidya Balan has put down a certain set of dos and don’ts for her films after getting married to Siddharth Roy Kapur and “no kissing” on screen, is one of them.
Says a source associated with the film, “Even the lovemaking scenes in HAK were toned down to accommodate Vidya’s concerns. No one objected to her requests and Mohit complied readily since Vidya’s image wasn’t affected by them.”
The last time Vidya shared a tender kiss on screen was with Emraan Hashmi in Ghanchakkar. It is interesting to note that when Kareena Kapoor had to enact an intimate scene with Ajay Devgn in Satyagraha, after getting married to Saif, she too had asked the director to tone down the scene.
