Ex-Islamist claims western Muslims are lured to ISIS for sex

The preacher now tours the country and attempts to reach out to young British Muslims

London: In a shocking statement, a former Islamist has announced that more number of men are being lured to join ISIS because of sex.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Alyas Karmani, who was a former Islamist, said that because these men could not connect themselves and they feel isolated in the hypersexualised Britsh society, which leaves them frustated and vulnerable. "'This is all about sex... These guys just want girls. That's it. They resent not having the same freedoms of Western youths to have girlfriends and intimate relationships," he was reported as saying.

Though his wife disagreed, and warned that he could get into trouble for making such statement, he said that the thought of growing up with the values such as celibacy before marriage and having girlfriends, all while living in a hyper sexualised society would only leave frustration among the youth.

"I'm there with my gun - which is more or less a penis extension... it is out there, 'look at me, I got my gear on'" the Bradford based preacher said in the documentary 'Exposure - Jihad - A British Story', aired by ITV on Monday night.

The preacher now tours the country and attempts to reach out to young British Muslims, urging parents to support their kids and make sure that they don't feel isolated, and prevent them from getting lured to ISIS. Karmani was himself radicalised as a young man.
