SSLC certificates create problems for Plus-One

Students will have to be personally present at the time of admission

The certificates, mandatory while taking admissions, have not reached many schools except in Thiruvananthapuram, Idukki and Kannur districts. There are also complaints of errors in details entered in the certificates of some students.

However, the Higher Secondary directorate has clarified that students can get admitted to schools using the mark sheet downloaded from the website.

Students will have to be personally present at the time of admission. Admissions for the first round of allotments will be completed on June 18 and classes will commence on July 8.

The last date for admission is July 31 after all rounds of allotments. There are 5, 16,455 applicants for the 2, 45, 795 seats to be filled in the merit quota through the single window admission process. Of them, 1, 20, 280 are in the science group, 52, 810 in humanities and 72,705 in commerce.
