Hyderabad: The AP CID has asked for call data records of the complainant Mr Jerusalem Mattaiah. Thus, if Telangana serves a notice in the cash-for-vote case, AP too, will serve a notice in the CID case.
Meanwhile, AP has decided to form a Special Investigation Team to probe into the 87 FIRs filed against Mr Chandrasekhar Rao, AP Opposition leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and ACB DG A.K. Khan and others in the case.
“In all, 87 cases have been registered against Mr Rao in AP. A Special Investigating Team will soon probe all these cases. He was charged with whipping up passions and fomenting trouble among various sections of people. We have decided to form a SIT in view of the gravity of the cases. The terms and conditions will be out soon,” said minister for agriculture Pattipati Pulla Rao.
