Anti-Corruption Bureau to serve 20 notices in cash-for-vote scam

ACB identified 20 suspects based on call analysis and decided to issue notices

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau has decided to take a decision against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in the cash-for-vote case only after receiving a preliminary report from the Andhra Pradesh Forensic Science Laboratory.

The initial report by APFSL will only reveal whether videotapes of the conversation between accused MLA A. Revanth Reddy and complainant Elvis Stephenson and the recorded conversation between Mr Stephenson and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu are doctored or genuine.

Meanwhile, the ACB will grill other suspects including MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, former MLA Vem Narendar Reddy and Rajya Sabha MPs including C.M. Ramesh and Garikapati Mohan Rao.

The ACB identified 20 suspects based on call data analysis and have decided to issue notice to all of them. It has also decided to alert all airports regarding them.
