We have evidences, says K Chandrashekar Rao

The ACB will serve notice to Mr Naidu and others after gathering evidence

Hyderabad: Sources said that the Intelligence Bureau has implicated Mr Naidu in the cash-for-vote scam while giving a clean chit to the TS government regarding phone tapping in its report to the Centre. It has also allegedly confirmed that it was Mr Naidu’s voice in the taped conversation.

The Telangana CM reportedly told the Governor that there is evidence that showed the direct involvement of Mr Naidu, a Union minister and other bigwigs in the episode.

Mr Rao told the Governor that his government had not resorted to phone tapping, adding that Mr Naidu was hatching a conspiracy to defame his government and divert attention by raising Section 8 to save himself.

Mr Rao briefed the Governor on the progress of the ACB investigation, extension of remand of TD MLA A. Revanth Reddy and the two other accused, vide, audio tapes being sent to the forensic lab for authenticity and other matters.

Dismissing Mr Naidu’s plea, Mr Rao told the Governor that peace had prevailed in Hyderabad since the formation of TS and there had not been a single incident wherein people of Seemandhra had been targeted.

He made it clear that law would take its own course against Mr Naidu and that the latter was trying to whip up emotions to deflect attention from the crime. The ACB will serve notice to Mr Naidu and others after gathering evidence.
