ATM stolen by robbers in Pathankot

The accused before uprooting the ATM damaged the CCTV cameras

Pathankot: An ATM of the State Bank of Patiala was uprooted and taken away by robbers in densely populated Sarna area on Tuesday.

In his complaint to the police, Branch Manager Davinder Mahajan said the ATM contained Rs 3,70,700.

Police said there was no security guard at the site at the time of the robbery.

The accused before uprooting the ATM damaged the CCTV cameras installed outside and inside and also sprayed black paint on them.

Senior Superintendent of Police Pathankot Rakesh Kaushal said investigation in the case was under way.
