Parineeti Chopra not approached for Salman starrer ‘Sultan’

Mumbai: Rumours were abuzz that Parineeti Chopra will star opposite Salman Khan in Yash Raj Films next flick ‘Sultan’.

However, we hear that the former has not yet been approached for the role. “Parineeti has not been approached for 'Sultan' however she is a die hard self-confessed Salman fan so is looking forward to an opportunity to work with him in the near future,” read a statement by Parineeti’s spokesperson.

While Parineeti is a die-hard Salman fan, the actress is yet to bag her golden ticket to romance the superstar on-screen. The actress has not been the first one whose name set media abuzz, previously Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut were also in talks for pairing with Salman.

Meanwhile Salman, who will play a wrestler in the film, will undergo vigorous training to get into the character. Promotions of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ will keep the actor occupied for the next few months after which all his time is allotted to 'Sultan'.

This will be Salman’s second film with Yash Raj Films, earlier one being ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, which was a blockbuster.
