Naidu should step down: Lakshmi Parvathi
Srikalahasthi: YSRC state leader Lakshmi Parvathi demanded the Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, and TD leader Revanth Reddy to quit alleging that both of them are involved in the vote-for-note scam.
Speaking to media persons at Srikalah-asthi on Saturday, she said that TD was spending money earned illegally in AP in the elections at Telangana.
Stressing that there is a hidden agenda in keeping Polavaram project aside and promoting Pattiseema, she alleged that Rs 400 crore changed hands in the process. She found fault with the CM and ministers for spending crores of rupees on foreign tours when the state is starving for funds. She said that Chandrababu Naidu had came to power through illegal means right from the beginning while pointing to NTR episode.
She said that TD is also resorting to irregularities in the ensuing MLC elections. Ms Lakshmi Parvathi said that nobody believed when she raised hue and cry over the corruption on the part of Mr Chandrababu Naidu but the vote-for-note affair exposed his operations to everyone.
