No one came for an hour for relief

Rajahmundry: A 10-year old child miraculously survived an accident in the predawn darkness on Saturday morning in which 22 other members of his extended family were killed when their vehicle plunged off the Sir Arthur Cotton barrage at Dowles-waram.
The passengers, inclu-ding nine women, seven children and the driver were crushed in the vehicle which fell upside down on a concrete platform on the Godavari river bed. There was only one survivor, Eegala Kiran Kumar, 10.
