Kangana Ranaut on her friendship with Deepika Padukone, 'It’s Katti Batti'
Mumbai: It seemed like peace collapsed in the relationship shared between Kangana Ranaut and Deepika Padukone when the former walked out of 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' bash, as soon as Deepika turned up. A lot has been written about their rivalry ever since the time Deepika didn't attend the screening which Kangana had personally invited her for.
At the 'Katti Batti' trailer launch that took place on June 14, Kangana was at her witty best. She is one woman who doesn't mince words and laces it with humour. On being asked about the equation she shares with people from the industry, the actress was quick to reply, she said, "It's completely alright to have minor arguments or disagreements with people who work with you. Because things bounce back to normal soon after that."
Meanwhile the actress also opened up about the bond she shares with her rumoured rival. "It's Katti Batti," she said in context to her rivalry with Deepika Padukone.
On work front Kangana has been very selective about her projects even since her career graph took off. "Earlier, I didn't have options, but now I can afford to be choosy and pricey," she shared. She also took the stage to clear the air about turning down Salman Khan's 'Sultan'. "I had already given my dates to 'Rangoon' and hence couldn't sign 'Sultan'," said a sighing Kangana.
Nikhil Advani's 'Katti Batti' cannot be classified or tagged in one genre. It is a film, which is an emotional tale about relationships, love and priorities but also has a refreshing and edgy twist.
