Yahoo to host first mobile developer meet in India
Mumbai: Following their successful launch in San Francisco, Yahoo is bringing their Mobile Developer Meetup to India for the first time. The event will be held in New Delhi on June 24 and Bengaluru on June 26.
Why is this a great opportunity for India?
India’s mobile Internet sector – growing at almost 40 per cent a year – has spawned an exciting app developer ecosystem, creating a community that is riding the wave of innovating not only for users in India, but across the world.
India has a vibrant, rapidly growing app developer community. As a mobile-first company, we understand the need for app developers to have a strong mobile analytics and monetization engine. The Yahoo Mobile Developer Suite can help developers build their app businesses, monetize and create better experiences for their users, to stand out in today’s crowded app market.
What to expect?
Mobile app developers will get their first look at the Yahoo Mobile Developer Suite, a new suite of services designed to help them measure, advertise, monetize and improve their mobile apps. They will also hear from the Flurry team about key insights and trends from the app universe – both at a global and at the regional level. Today, Flurry provides 200,000 app developers with the mobile analytics they need to better understand their users - specifically around audience, usage and performance. Every month, Flurry touches over 1.6 billion devices and gains tremendous insights into users’ interests and behavior, based on the apps they use.
The meetup will feature a discussion with a panel of innovators and thought leaders, followed by a mixer to give participants an opportunity to network with fellow developers and discuss learnings that can help resolve shared challenges.
