Hyderabad: Telangana intelligence sleuths who played a key role in unravelling the conspiracy in the cash-for-vote scam are now focusing on inputs that the TD has planned to spend huge amount of money in the GHMC elections.
A senior police TS official said, “We spoke to several MLAs who were approached by the TD leaders. TD wants to give a big shock to the TRS in MLC elections by buying MLAs. This has been foiled. Sustained investigation revealed that the TD also had plans to win the GHMC elections by spending money. We are trying to get more information on their plans.”
Meanwhile, TS ACB is also probing if conspiracy took place in case. "We are investigating if the conspiracy did take place. Whether it is Revanth Reddy’s residence, or NTR Trust Bhavan or Naidu’s camp office or any other place? The mobile phone tower locations of phones of the accused and suspects from May 25 to May 31 are being analysed," said an investigating official. YSRC Telangana president P. Sudhakar Reddy
said,"Naidu should be made A1 and Revanth Reddy should be converted as A 2."
