Abdul Kalam kicks off National Nursing Conference for Oncology at IISc campus in Bengaluru
The conference, organised by the HCG, aims to improve skill sets of oncological nurses
Bengaluru: The ‘National Nursing Conference for Oncology’ was inaugurated by former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam at the Indian Institute of Science campus in Malleswaram on Friday.
“Nursing plays a crucial role in healthcare industry. This conference will not only enable the participants to acquire substantial knowledge on advanced oncology nursing, but also strengthen the understanding and integration of advancements in cancer care,” Dr Kalam said.
B.S. Ajaikumar, Chairman, HCG, spoke. The conference, organised by the HCG, aims to improve skill sets of oncological nurses, while enabling them to learn the technological advancements in oncology care.
