Mumbai: Living legend Ilayaraja unveiled the trailer of the upcomimg Kollywood film 'Rudhramadevi '. The film starring Anushka Shetty, Prakash Raj, and Nithya Menon has been produced by Sri Thenandal Films. ‘Rudhramadevi’ is being simultaneously made in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
Anushka takes the centre stage as the fierce Rudhramadevi, a 13th-century queen of Kakatiya dynasty. Did you know that director Gunasekhar was initially considering Nayanthara and Priyanka Chopra for the title role.
The film has been cleared by the Censor Board with a ‘U’ certificate, and is scheduled to hit the big screens on June 26.
