The trailer of most awaited 3D historic film Rudhramadevi was unveiled by the maestro Ilaiyaraaja at his recording studio in Chennai. Looks like the small selfie bug has not spared even our reticent Isaignani. The picture, which has Ilaiyaraaja, producer Murali, Gunashekar and Pa Vijay has gone viral on social networking sites.
Directed by Gunashekar, the period 3D film is about Rani Rudhrama Devi of Kakatiya Dynasty in which Anushka plays the title role. The nation’s first stereoscopic 3D movie boasts of the sizzling ensemble star cast of Rana Daggubati, Allu Arjun, Vijaykumar, Suman, among others. The film’s soundtrack and background score have been composed by Ilaiyaraaja.
In the big-budget film, lyricist Pa Vijay has double up as a dialogue writer apart from being the lyricist. Sources say that the high octane groovy number (King’s Royal court) performed by the three ladies Anushka, Nithya Menen, and Catherine Tresa is said to be the highlight of the film.
