Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday challenged the AP government to stall the Palamuru Lift Scheme if it could and said he would complete the new project while the AP government watched.
“Is Krishna water your grandfather’s property? It is the right of Telangana to utilise more water, and we will use it come what may,” Mr Rao said.
Mr Rao was speaking at a massive public meeting at Bhootpur in Mahbubnagar district after laying the foundation stone for the project on Thursday.
