Jayender sustained minor injuries and was shifted to hospital

Hyderabad: A teenaged girl died on the spot and her friend was injured when their bike was hit by an RTC bus at Shamirpet on Thursday. The deceased, identified as Bharathi, 18, was a student at a private college. Her friend was identified as Jayender, 19.
Police said that on Thursday morning the duo was coming on a bike from Bollarum to Kattamaisamma temple. Jayender was driving the bike and Bharathi was on the pillion. When they reached Shamirpet they took a diversion and the bus rammed their bike. Bharathi died on the spot. Jayender sustained minor injuries and was shifted to hospital.
