More of Naidu’s crimes will come out: K Chandrasekhar Rao

‘Chandrababu is just a guest CM in Hyderabad’ - KCR

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said, “Mr Naidu indulged in several other unethical acts which will come out soon. As the head of government, I get certain information from various investigation agencies up to a certain level. I have no role to play in this. The agencies which are enquiring into these issues will present all these details after thorough investigation."

Mr Rao revealed that Mr Naidu had almost bought two Congress MLAs and it was he who had alerted the party, based on which they set up camp in Begumpet to save their legislators from poaching.

Mr Rao questioned Mr Naidu's rationale in contesting MLC elections though the TD had fewer votes.

He also asked why Mr Naidu was silent when 120-odd telephones of the Chief Minister, ministers and senior officials were being tapped. What were AP agencies doing till TDP legislator A. Revanth Reddy was caught on May 31, he asked

Asked whether there was a threat to his government, the Telangana Chief Minister said, "I don't think the Centre would support a person like Naidu who indulged in bribery. Like the Centre, the TS government is also democratically elected and no one can exceed their limits."

Referring to Mr Naidu's demand to implement Section 8 of the AP Reorganisation Act empowering the Governor to oversee law and order in the common capital, Mr Rao said, "Chandrababu is just a guest CM in Hyderabad. The CM's post and the post of AP DGP are territorial posts. Hyderabad city is just a facilitator till a full-time capital comes up there. He is just the CM of a neighbouring state and he is only a guest here. The jurisdiction of the AP CM and the AP DGP are in AP and not in TS. When the CM indulges in buying a ruling party MLA, should we keep quiet with folded hands? The ACB inquiry in on and everything will come out soon."

The Chief Minister reiterated that the TS government had not tapped the phones of anyone and the audio tapes were based on the inquiry done by the ACB by retrieving the call data list from the phones deposited in the court.
