Rajahmundry: A photography contest on the Godavari Pushkaralu-2015 with the theme ‘Save Temples’ will be held under the aegis of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHH-F) and Savetemples.org.
The photographs should be on the glory of Godavari river, activities of devotees at the temples and at Pushkar ghats located on the banks of Godavari river. GHHF and Savetemples.org founder chairman Prof. Velagapudi Prakasa Rao and brand ambassador Dr. Ghazal Srinivas in a release said that the winners would be announced on August 14, 2015. The first prize carries cash prize worth Rs 50,000, second prize Rs 30,000 and third prize Rs 25,000.
As many as 10 consolation prizes worth Rs 5,000 each will be given along with citations. Each photographer can send 10 pictures attached with his bio-data, e-mail ID, phone number and duly filled in application form along with an undertaking. All entries should reach on or before August 5, 2015 along with application form, an undertaking, DVD and identity proof.
The entries should be sent to: GHHF and Savetemples.org, 6-3-629/2, A2, Kabir Nivas, Anand Nagar, Khairatabad, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Online entries will also be taken on www.savetemples.org on or before June 30, 2015.
