Hyderabad: Sources said PM Narendra Modi gave a patient hearing to AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu during their one-on-one meeting in New Delhi on Wednesday evening and sought some clarifications. And at the end, he assured Mr Naidu that he would “look into all aspects”.
Mr Naidu started his day meeting Union minister M. Venkaiah Naidu and had a series of meetings with ministers Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley, President Pranab Mukherjee and BJP president Amit Shah.
“I have explained everything to the Centre and sought its intervention immediately to set things right. It is the duty of the Centre to intervene whenever there is a crisis between two states, and I am expecting a positive response,” Mr Naidu told the media.
Reacting to a statement by Telangana minister K.T. Rama Rao, Mr Naidu said, “I am not an ordinary citizen of Hyderabad, I am the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and have full powers on Hyderabad.”
