H.L Dattu offered prayers in the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara
Tirupati: Chief Justice of Supreme Court Justice H.L Dattu offered prayers in the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara on Wednesday morning. One of the chief priests of the Tirumala temple Dr A.V. Ramana Dikshitulu explained the honourable justice and his entourage about the significance of Lord and various ornaments being adorned to the presiding deity. The Chief Justice was earlier received with temple honours at the main entrance of the temple.
Later the Chief Justice was rendered with Vedas-irvachanam by a team of Vedic scholars inside Ranganayakula Mandapam. TTD JEO K.S. Sreeni-vasa Raju offered Prasa-dams to the justice.
Dist Judge Justice T. Anand, IIIrd ADJ T.V. Ram Babu, Temple deputy executive officer Chinnamgari Ramana, reception officials Rama Rao, Laks-hminarayana Yadav, Peishkar R Selvam and others were present.
Earlier, the Chief Justice accompanied by family members offered prayers to Goddess Padmavathi at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple in Tiruchanur on Wednesday. TTD JEO Pola Bhaskar has presented Ammavari Prasadam and kum kuma to the Chief Justice.
Tirumala JEO K.S. Sreenivasa Raju, District Ju-dge Justice T. Anand, IIIrd ADJ T.V. Ram Babu and Spl grade DyEO Chenchu Lakshmi were present. AEO Nagarathna and district officials were present.
