Salman Khan threatened to quit Twitter in a late-night rant on Tuesday, after telling his fans off for trolling and making fun of Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan.
In an epic 25 tweet rant, Salman told his fans that SRK and Aamir were his friends, and accused his followers of using “false identities” (fake profiles ) to attack the two on social media. Saying that he was on Twitter only to “spread love, share thoughts and have fun” with his fans, he warned that if they continued the trolling, he would “not be on this social network anymore”.
Most of his followers and others on Twitter also praised the actor for standing up to his own fans and for even asking them not to be too active on Twitter, and focus on their work instead.
