I believe in Salman: Sneha Ullal

Actress will be seen in Bezubaan Ishq, a musical romance directed by Jashwant Gangani

After a break of almost four years from the Hindi film industry, Sneha Ullal is back on the big screen. Ask her where she had disappeared and she says, “I was completing my education. For Lucky, I had left my studies. Now I am back.”

In her upcoming film Bezubaan Ishq, a musical romance directed by Jashwant Gangani, she plays the role of Rumjum, a traditional and a soft-spoken girl. She stars opposite Bollywood newcomer Nishant Malkani. Describing her co-star as a “very hard working person”, Sneha says, “We would be up at 6.30 am to rehearse our lines together. We were very comfortable and never had any issues. We are doing one more film together.”

Labelling the music of the film its USP, Sneha says, “Like other Hindi films, Bezubaan Ishq also mesmerises you with lyrical music, beautiful camera work and a unique story.”Sneha, who is gifted with beautiful blue eyes, says she will not be able to flaunt them in the film due to the script’s demand. “As per Jashwantji’s opinion, my character demanded black eyes so I had to wear lenses throughout the shoot.”

Moulding into the character was a challenge, she admits. “My character in the film is very different from me. I am a tomboy, I don’t know how to be coy,” she says. Coming to Sneha’s mentor in B’wood, Salman Khan, we wondered if she had been following the actor’s legal troubles. “I believe in Salman Khan. I stand by him in good and bad times. What has to happen, will happen. Salman is a family to me. I want the best for him and will always be there for him,” she replies.
