He killed his wife by strangulating

KARIMNAGAR: A man killed his wife by strangulating following a quarrel between them over purchasing a saree to her on their maiden wedding anniversary in Manthani mandal headquarters on Tuesday. Later, he surrendered to police.
Manthani sub-inspector Shaik Mastan said that the deceased was Merugu Sirisha, 19, a homemaker. The accused was Chandramouli, a mason from the town. Chandramouli, under the influence of alcohol, picked up an argument with Shirisha, and in a fit of rage he strangulated her for asking him to buy a new saree on their first marriage anniversary slated for June 20. He confessed to committing the offence. Hailing Rompikunta village in Kam-anpur mandal, Shirisha, married to Chandramouli.
