Kangana Ranaut sends PR firm legal notice for circulating 'negative' stories
Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut has been in the news for the right and wrong reasons for the past couple of months. According to a report in Mid-Day the actress has sent the PR firm that used to work for her a legal notice for circulating negative stories about her.
The firm was handling the actress until three months ago. According to the report the notice that was sent by the actress’ lawyer reads, “The representatives of your company out of bitterness then malafidely, mischievously and intentionally started spreading various false and absolutely misleading stories against my client to the media therein trying to cause serious damages to my client’s name, image and reputation.”
“My client has sufficient proof which prima facie suggest that such stories are being circulated by the representatives of your company… on behalf of my client ( I) call upon you to immediately stop indulging in such mischievous and malafide acts failing which I have been given peremptory instructions to immediately file both civil and criminal case of defamation against your company as well as initiate other appropriate proceedings at the risk, cost and consequences of your company.”
The actress is very upset with the defamatory stories that have been doing the rounds on public platforms and media, and is certain that the people responsible have a ulterior motive.
