A World bank team is visiting india for its ease of doing business index
New Delhi: India showcased a series of reforms before a team from World Bank on a visit to the country to collect data and information for Doing Business Report, 2016. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has repeatedly shown concern over India’s poor ranking on this list.
India ranked 142 among 189 nations in World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business 2015 report. The World Bank team was informed about the government’s decision to remove the requirement of minimum paid-up capital for companies.
They were also told about the removal of requirement of common seal for companies and requirement of filing declaration of commencement for companies. Also, now only three documents are now required for exports and imports.
