It is a conspiracy by KCR-Jagan: Siddha Raghava Rao

KCR, Jagan conspire to air Naidu’s voice on television channels: TD

Ongole: Coming down heavily on the TRS and the Telangana state Cabinet for what he said were attempts to malign AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s image, AP transport minister Siddha Raghava Rao on Monday said that the voice on the tape was definitely not Mr Naidu’s. Interacting with the media in Ongole, Mr Raghava Rao emphasised that the voice on the tapes aired on some television channels was not of the AP Chief Minister and said that the entire episode pointed to a conspiracy hatched by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

“They plan to register cases against Mr Naidu. Telangana leaders are targeting him as they are worried due to his popularity and possibility of coming to power in Telangana,” the minister said. “Their only aim by releasing the “fake tapes” is to harass our CM. We will not spare whoever is behind the tapes,” Mr Raghava Rao said. Elsewhere, TD district unit president Damacharla Janardhan and former MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy accused the TRS of resorted to false propaganda against Mr Naidu unable to face him and the TD politically.

They said that the disclosure on Sunday night was meant to cast a shadow over Maha Sankalpa Deeksha but it would fail. The two leaders said that the party admitted Chirala legislator Amanchi Krishna Mohan while stressing that he was a like a family member of the TD.

Meanwhile, Ongole MP Y.V. Subba Reddy demanded Mr Naidu resign from his post. YSRC activists set fire to the election manifesto of the TD, accusing the government of failing to fulfil the promises made at election time.
