Sleep problems can make you less satisfied in life
Life satisfaction is interlinked with many measures of sleep
Washington: A new study reveals that if a person has sleep problems during his midlife, it could lead to lower life satisfaction in long term.
The study conducted by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine found that respondents with higher life satisfaction reported shorter sleep onset latency (SOL) and sleep onset delay among those with low life satisfaction could be the result of worry and anxiety.
These findings support the idea that life satisfaction is interlinked with many measures of sleep and sleep quality, suggesting that improving one of these variables might result in improving the other.
Author Hayley O'Hara said that these findings support the idea that life satisfaction is interlinked with many measures of sleep and sleep quality. It suggests that improving one of these variables might result in improvement in the other.
The study is published in the journal Sleep.
