Actor Kishore’s versatility is common knowledge, and he is one actor who shines in any role, be it an anti-hero in Polladhavan, the straightforward cop in Arrambam, or the doting dad in Haridas.
Although he did the lead in Vana Yuddham, the biopic of Veerappan, Kishore will be seen as a hero for the first time in the full-fledged commercial flick Kaadhali Kaanavillai. This bilingual venture is titled Bheeshmar in Kannada.
Talking about the film, the director duo Ravi Raja say, “Kishore essays Bheeshma, an orphan, who turns into an underworld gangster. Hardhika who did Aal in Tamil is playing his romantic interest. It is not the run-of-the-mill life of a don. The story actually projects the softer side of the menacing dada.” According to sources, a hesitant Kishore was won over by the impressive narration by the twin directors, and he eventually signed up.
