CM may not last long in his post, says BS Yeddyurappa

Former CM also made it clear that he is not an aspirant for a portfolio at the Centre

Mysuru: Former Chief Minister and BJP MP Mr B.S. Yeddyurappa came down heavily on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah saying the law and order situation in the state has collapsed and with his present style of functioning, Mr Siddaramaiah may not last long in his post.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Sunday, he wondered if the Chief Minister and Home Minister Mr K. J. George were not aware of the Lottery scam before it was exposed. “I suspect the indirect involvement of both the Chief Minister and Home Minister. They have failed to handle every issue be it the Nandita case in Shivamogga, the Arkavathi layout denotification, the death of efficient officers like Mallikarjun Bande and D.K. Ravi, the controversy over appointment of KPSC members,” he said.

“How much money has he released to develop his hometown, Mysuru? They have not been able to pay the salaries of 108 ambulance staffers. Has the state reached such a pathetic situation? Let the CM come out with a White Paper on expenditure,” he said. The former CM also made it clear that he is not an aspirant for a portfolio at the Centre. His only objective was to bring BJP to power in the next Assembly elections.
