Managing that mane!
A sweaty scalp seems to be your constant companion this season, doesn’t it? The worst that happens to hair in this humidity is that it gets porous. And if you ever comb it while it is wet you’ll break it further, thus increasing your hairfall. So, whether you are going in for an impromptu swim or just got drenched in the shower, the most important thing is to dry your hair well after it gets wet.
Try your best to avoid letting your hair get wet in the rain. Toxins that are floating in the air come down with the rain and settle on your scalp, which might already be sticky with sweat. Letting some time pass before your morning run and the shower also causes the same effect, thanks to sweat. This makes your scalp feel itchy and immediately causes dandruff. This will weaken the shaft bonds, making your hair dull and limp. This is the best time to wear your hair up or in a ponytail.
Rinse your hair with a gentle shampoo and condition it after, if your hair happens to get drenched in the rain or you have just come home from the gym. Use a hair serum this season, so your hair does not get tangled. It’s very important to keep hair simple with fewer styles and less usage of any chemicals and hair products.
A regular hot oil massage before your hair wash and a dollop of hair serum after will be ideal for this season. No matter how many products you use, the value of an oil massage is still unchampioned.
Protein is the most important nutrient for healthy hair. So, if you want to show off your mane, you must eat foods that are a rich source of protein, such as salmons, eggs, carrots, whole grains, dark green veggies, kidney beans, nuts, and low-fat dairy products.
