After Karan Singh Grover, Kunwar Amarjeet Singh is the latest from the telly industry to lodge a complaint with the Mumbai Police. The Dil Dosti Dance actor claims his manager has cheated him of Rs 15 lakh.
Our source tells us, “Amar has been busy with his shoots, events and performances due to which he hired Primal as his manager to handle his accounts, contacts and finances. However, Primal ended up misusing Amar’s money. Amar has asked for his money back, but even after repeated attempts, the manager continues to refuse to reimburse the actor.”
When we contacted Amar, he confirmed saying, “I trusted Primal a lot and even recommended him to my friends. Over time, I found out that he was cheating me as well as my friends. When I asked him to give me my money which was with him, he kept making false excuses. I started getting calls from my spot-boy and make-up man complaining about not being paid which made me realise that not only was my money with this man but he wasn’t paying dues to the people I owed money to. After investigating, I found out that he had wasted the money in dance bars, gambling, match-fixing, etc. I have filed a complaint and have also warned everyone I could.”
We hear that, apparently, the manager’s mother had given the actor a set of cheques but even those have bounced. Now, both his manager and mother cannot be contacted.
