Paris: Novak Djokovic faces Stan Wawrinka in the French Open final on Sunday targeting a first Roland Garros title to become just the eighth man to secure a career Grand Slam.

World number one Djokovic takes a 17-3 career lead into his clash against Wawrinka whose win over the Serb in the 2014 Australian Open quarter-finals put him on the way to his first, and so far only, major title.

Wawrinka is holding on well, not surrendering to the wrath of the powerful Djoker. He fights an early break point and settles It also snapped an eight-year losing streak against the eight-time Grand Slam trophy winner.

And the two played a 39-shot rally in the first game itself. This has the making of a historic match already.
