Congress exodus to TRS continues
The meeting assumed significance since some Congress leaders had joined TRS
Hyderabad: Congress leaders continue to make a beeline before the TRS. Gutha Jitender Reddy, chairman of Mother Dairy and brother of Congress MP Gutha Sukender Reddy will join the TRS along with other Congress leaders in the presence of Chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao here on Saturday.
Apart from Mr Jitender Reddy, DCMS chairman Janpally Venkateswara Rao and their supporters also joined the TRS. The Nalgonda Congress leaders were introduced to Mr Chandrasekhar Rao by energy minister Jagdish Reddy and other local TRS leaders.
It is learnt that District Cooperative Central Bank chairman M. Panduranga Rao is also planning to join the TRS on June 8. In another significant development, Congress MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy called on Chief Minister at the Camp Office. The meeting assumed significance since some Congress leaders had joined TRS. However, Mr Komati-reddy Venkat Reddy denied political motives and said he met CM to request him to speed up Udaya Samudram project and developmental works in Nalgonda district.
