Telugu Desam’s Ch Malla Reddy praises K Chandrasekhar Rao
Hyderabad: Malkajgiri Telugu Desam MP Ch. Malla Reddy raised eyebrows at a land patta distribution function in Malkajgiri on Friday by heaping praises on Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
“After the state has been bifurcated, we are lucky to have a CM like him. We have seen him taking up Swachh Hyderabad and sanctioned Rs 335 crore funds for drinking water supply through World Bank aid to Malkajgiri which he visited four times,” he said.
The comments are in contrast to AP Chief Minister and TD president N. Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana TD leaders who are gunning for KCR’s blood after the arrest of TD MLA A. Revanth Reddy in the cash-for-vote case and large scale defections.
“Let’s forget all the differences and strive hard together to develop Telangana and make it a Bangaru Telangana. We have a good CM. I thank CM for giving pattas to the poor,” he remarked.
Mr Malla Reddy went on to say that it was a festive atmosphere in Telangana due to distribution of pattas to poor. “The poor got independence today. Since 30/40 years the poor were eagerly waiting to own land on which they lived. Now they have got pattas thanks to KCR,” he remarked.
Mr Malla Reddy, who owns a group of engineering colleges and other educational institutions around Hyderabad, also asked people to support the Chief Minister in his endeavour.
“Hyderabad is biggest city in India and Telangana is the 29th state in the country. We now have a separate state. It is the responsibility of all of us to develop this state. The CM alone cannot do it. We should all support him to make Telangana the No. 1 state,” he remarked.
