Taliban posters surface in Kashmir; warn telecoms, petrol pumps and alcohol-sellers

Posters are written in Urdu and have Tehreek-e-Taliban Jammu and Kashmir stamp on it

Srinagar: In an upsetting development, Tehreek-e-Taliban posters have surfaced in Sopore town of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to reports, the posters warned of attacks on telecoms, petrol pumps, cable operators and alcohol shops.

Posters are written in Urdu and have a stamp of Tehreek-e-Taliban Jammu and Kashmir on it. They ask petrol pump owners not to refuel the vehicles of police and military and further warned cable operators against telecasting Indian shows and alcohol-sellers to shut shop immediately, failing which they will be attacked

Reportedly, Kashmiri residents have also been warned against employing migrant labourers.

A few days ago, two men working with BSNL in the valley were killed.
