Hyderabad: The concluding ceremony of the first anniversary celebrations of the TS Formation Day will be held in a grand manner at Tank Bund on June 7, between 7 pm and 9 pm.
One lakh laddus would be distributed to participants by the Telangana government.
Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, who reviewed the arrangements for the event at Secretariat on Friday, directed the officials to ensure the success of the concluding ceremony by conducting various programmes highlighting the Telangana history, culture and tradition.
He said about 1 lakh people are likely to gather at Tank Bund to take part in the event. Mr Rao appealed to people from all walks of life to take part in the celebrations and demonstrate the “self-respect of Telangana” to the world.
He urged all the public representative, right from sarpanches to ministers, to be present at Tank Bund by 7 pm.
He asked the ministers to take the responsibility of mobilising public representatives from districts. The CM also requested the residents of city to ensure their presence in large numbers.
