I met Aarti a decade ago for the first time. She was absolutely ruling Tollywood back then and was working with all the top actors. In those days, she was staying at Suresh Guest House, which was owned by Rama Naidu. That’s where all top stars would stay when they came to shoot for Suresh Productions. She actually had her own suite and lived there for many years. When she finally moved out, I checked into the same suite and lived there for three years as I had started signing films.
“One day, when I ran into her at an event and told her about our suite connection, she told me she was very fond of that place and had great memories attached to her former home. After that day, I just met her a couple of times. It’s really, really sad what happened.”
