Aadhi lent his voice to croon a ‘soup song’ Sokkaana Ponnu for his forthcoming film Yagavarayinum Naa Kakka and much to his delight, the ditty number is not only trending on online platforms, but also received accolades from none other than Rajinikanth! It is learnt that Rajini with whom Aadhi shared screen space in Kochadaiyaan earlier, has heaped laurels on the young actor after he happened to watch the song.
Says an elated Aadhi, “Three days back, I got a call from Superstar’s private number and I couldn’t believe myself for a moment! I had just woken up and was half-asleep holding a tooth brush on my hand. The phone battery was nearly dead and I knew if I picked up the call, it would conk off! I literally rushed to the power point and plugged my phone and then only answered his call.”
He goes on, “Rajini sir in his inimitable voice and style told me, ‘I saw your Sokkana track and it was very interesting. I liked it. Well done.’ I was totally touched by his gesture.” Aadhi also recalls how he was was nervous acting in front of Rajini during KC, “Rajini sir was present when my very first scene was shot I was really tensed. But he comforted me and asked me to be natural. He also complimented my height.”
