The actress will be seen playing the title role in the film
Mumbai: While the rest of Bollywood is lving it up in Malaysia at IIFA 2015, Sonam Kapoor has been busy shooting for her upcoming biopic ‘Neerja’. The actress who is playing the title role posed for several pictures with fans and members of the film’s unit after wrapping up her shoot.
The film tells the story of the brave heart flight stewardess Neerja Bhanot, who lost her life saving passengers of the Pan Am Flight 73, which was hijacked in Karachi on Spemtember 5, 1986.
The film also stars Shekhar Ravjiani, who will be making his acting debut in the Ram Madhvani film. Shabana Azmi will also be seen playing the role of Sonam's mother in the film.
