Botsa Satyanarayana was suspended for ‘anti-party’ activities
Hyderabad: Congress on Friday suspended former Andhra Pradesh party president Botsa Satyanarayana for "anti-party" activities.
Satyanarayana, who was the last state Congress president of undivided Andhra Pradesh, has been suspended for his anti-party activities, Andhra Pradesh Congress president N Raghuveera Reddy said.
He was a senior minister during the Congress rule in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh from 2004 to 2010, and is likely to join YSR Congress soon.
The former Lok Sabha MP, who hails from Vizianagaram, has been a senior leader for Congress in the north coastal Andhra districts.
Satyanarayana lost in the Legislative Assembly elections last year.
